District incorporating “green” design elements, the Calabasas High School Performing Arts Center is a newly constructed 28,000 square foot facility with stadium seating capacity for more than 650 guests, as well as Black Box seating for 100. Premium seats also include hidden table desks for educational uses. The theatre also offers professional acoustics, hydraulic orchestra pit and a formal lobby with space to accommodate display of visual arts.
BEST was selected on two separate occasions to furnish and install various components of the building envelope at the Calabasas High School Performing Arts Center, including storefront, curtain wall, aluminum window frames, glazing and composite sheet waterproofing for the first awarded scope of work. For the second contracted scope of work, BEST furnished and installed Johns Manville 60 Mil single ply roofing, preformed metal roofing, sheet metal & flashing as well as roof and smoke hatches.
