The vegetated “roof” is the green area at the ground floor level. It is actually the roof over underground parking. It is actually the roof over underground parking. As the roof garden is basically a lawn, the depth of engineered soil is very shallow. The structural concrete deck was waterproofed with hot rubber by Hydrotech and above this the typical vegetated roof system was installed comprising of root barrier material, insulation, a water retention layer and filter fabric. The soil/sod was laid over this assembly.
