Mineta San Jose International Airport Interim Facility

The Challenges

Terminal B concourse was originally built by Clark Construction, with construction management by Hensel Phelps Construction Co. and opened in 2010. Primary tenants included Alaska Airlines, Hainan Airlines and British Airways. Gates 29 and 30 were added to the terminal in 2017, and Gates 31 – 35 opened in June 2019 and Gate 36 in November 2019 as part of the $58 million project.

BEST was selected to furnish and install more than 33,000 square feet of Sarnafil PVC roofing system for the Interim Facility (Gates 31 – 35), along with Gate 36 -Added Pods. The scope of work included required Sheet Metal Flashing & Trim at designated areas. The project was completed on time and on budget.
