The Challenges
Mission College is a community college located in Santa Clara in the Silicon Valley area. First opened in 1979-1980 with 3,500 students, 73 instructors and 8 administrators, the college has grown to more than 9,100 students, with a student-faculty ratio of 23-1.
BEST was selected to furnish and install Centria Insulated Core Metal Roof and Aluminum Composite Wall Panels, along with Sheet Metal Flashing & Trim in an area of approximately 30,376 square feet. Additional scope of work included installation of more than 29,480 square feet of Kawneer Curtain Wall and Aluminum Framed Storefronts as well as Decorative Glass Railings for the Main Building Replacement Phase 2, Increment 2.
