SoFi Stadium – L. A. Stadium & Entertainment District

The Challenges

Home to both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, this $5-billion NFL stadium has the distinction of being the most expensive sporting venue built in the United States. The 3.1 million square-foot, open air complex boasts a swooping canopy composed of ETFE which was designed to shield patrons from the elements. Inlaid with lights to display different colors at night, as well as the logos for both The Rams and The Chargers, the 300 acre development includes 25 acres of open space; 300,000 square feet of office space; 340,000 square feet of retail space, a 300-room hotel, as well as up to 2,500 homes.

PVC Roofing, otherwise known as polyvinyl chloride, is a type of single-ply roofing membrane used on commercial or industrial roofs that are either flat or low-sloped. BEST Contracting Services installed 183,788 square feet of Reflective Grey G410 60 mil felt back spread out over 40 separate roofs consisting of the exterior performance venue roof, luxury suites, retailers, restaurants, concession stands, bathrooms and more.
